Am I wrong in believing that John McCain only picked Sarah Palin because she is a small-town woman and he believes that women will look at her and go, “Hey, she’s got a vagina just like me!!! COUNT ME IN!!!” Sarah Palin apparently isn’t even sure what a VP does… more on that after the leap…
Okay, yes, as a woman I have paid close attention to the fine line that has been tread in this election cycle. Hell, being Black, I’ve had to do the same thing so come November I’ll be exhausted. But, I think I am MORE offended that the GOP is playing on our hearts. I would love to see a woman in the Whitehouse, just as much as I’d like to see a Black person. It endears the position of Commander in Chief to us when we can look at them and identify a piece of ourselves. Read more »

His impersonations and jokes kept us laughing, and his wisdom kept us thinking. He was a musician, comedian, scholar and a gentleman. Tonight, we will be doing a special tribute broadcast to our friend…
